We have a continuing need for in-season, quality, used clothing. Donations are accepted every Monday that we’re open; clothing is distributed to clients on each of those Mondays except the first Monday of the month. To make an appointment to drop off donations at other times, please call us at 703-679-8966, or email us at email@example.com. (Donations that are not needed by CHO clients are passed on to other charitable organizations.)
We cannot accept any donations at this time; our warehouse is full. Please consider donating your furniture to Habitat for Humanity’s Restore program (www.restorenova.org).
The Furniture Program has an ongoing need for beds (all sizes except King), dressers and chests of drawers, sofas and love seats (but no sleep sofas or sectional sofas), dining table/chair sets, microwave ovens, rugs, lamps, baby cribs and mattresses. Pick-ups of donated furniture will resume February 14 and will continue each month on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. To schedule a pick-up, call (202)-681-5279.
